Flotis Contains Buprofezin 25, belonging to an IGR class compound (insect growth regulators). It has contact activity which acts on the nymphal stages of plant hoppers and whiteflies.
MODE OF ACTION
Buprofezin inhibits chitin formation there by causing abnormal endocuticular deposition & abortive molting. As a result of chitin deficiency the procuticle of the insects loses its elasticity & the insect is unable to complete the molting process which leads to death of insect.
