Trichoderma viride 1.5% W.P. is a bio-control fungus, which protects the root system against Root-knot nematodes and diseases caused by following soil borne pathogens on crops mentioned below.

Treat the seeds with Trichoderma viride 1.5% W.P. @ 20gm/kg of seeds & nursery beds with the Trichoderma viride 1.5% W.P. @ 50gm/sq.m. and also apply Trichoderma viride 1.5%  (@ 5kg/hectare) enriched FYM* @ 5 tons/hectare to the soil before transplanting.

Okra

Root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita) Wilt (Fusarium oxysporum)

Treat the seeds with Trichoderma viride 1.5% @ 20gm/kg of seeds and apply Trichoderma viride 1.5%  (@ 5kg/hectare) enriched FYM* @ 5 tons/hectare to the soil before planting.

* Enrichment of farm yard manure (FYM) with Trichoderma viride 1.5%W.P.: Add One kg of Trichoderma viride 1.5% W.P. to 1 ton of farm yard manure or compost to enrich it. Farm yard manure added with this bio-pesticide should be left under shade for a period of 15 days, maintaining optimum moisture and in between it should be mixed thoroughly at an interval of 5 days for proper enrichment of FYM with this bio-agent.

Note: One kilogram of formulation contains 10gm of biomass of Trichoderma viride 1.5% culture.

Directions For Uses: Do not apply Trichoderma viride 1.5%  W.P. on chemically treated seeds.

Symptoms of Poisoning: Occasional symptoms of Headache, irritation, nausea etc.

First Aid Measures: If ingested: If person is conscious and alert, rinse mouth with water and give 1 or 2 glass of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call the doctor. Do not induce vomiting until and unless desired by attending physician. If inhaled: Take the patient to fresh air and take care of body temperature. If patient is not breathing or breathing with difficulty, give artificial respiration, preferably with mouth breathing. Consult a physician. In case of skin contact: Wash thoroughly the affected part of body with soap and plenty of water including hairs and under fingernails. If pain, redness or irritation persist, consult a doctor. All the contaminated clothes should be segregated and thoroughly washed with soap and water separately before use. In case of eye contact: Rinse gently with plenty of water at least for 15 minutes. If pain, irritation, redness or photophobia persist. Consult eye specialist.

Antidote : Treat symptomatically.

Safety Precautions: Wash contaminated clothes and parts of the body after application. Wear full protective clothing during application. Avoid inhalation, do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything during application.

Conditions to be specified for storage of Biological Pesticide: 1) The package containing Biological pesticide shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock & key depending upon the quantity & nature of the Biological pesticide. 2) The rooms or premises meant for storing Biological pesticide shall be well built, dry, well-lit and ventilated and be of sufficient dimension to prevent environmental contamination. C temperature away from direct sunlight. 3) The product should be stored below 45°C) Store separately from bactericidal and chemical pesticides.

Disposal of used packages, surplus materials & washing of Biological Pesticide: 1) It shall be the duty of manufacturers, formulators of Biological pesticide and operators to dispose packages or surplus materials and washing in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental or water pollution. 2) The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use. 3) The packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.
